Jenny Madill, Kindergarten Teacher

Jenny Madill is an experienced educator, having taught preschool, kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 5th grades.  She is a graduate of Asbury University (BS) and the University of the Cumberlands (MA).  She taught for a few years right out of college, then enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom for 15 years, and has been back in the classroom for 12 years.

She enjoys walking, embroidery, and reading historical fiction.  Jenny and Keith (husband of 31 years) have 5 children, ages 17 to 26, and 1 granddaughter.  They enjoy coaching the church Bible Quiz Team and watching football together.

Jenny is excited to join the staff of Harbor Christian Academy. She firmly believes that Christian education plays a vital role in raising children who walk with Jesus, especially as that becomes more and more counter-cultural.

Keith Madill, 2nd Grade Teacher

Keith Madill is a lifelong public school educator. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky, he taught 19 years in grades 1, 2, and 3 and was an elementary principal/assistant principal for 8 years. He holds two master's degrees in education. After retiring, he has continued to substitute teach in all grades and has also worked on three movies as a studio teacher for the child actors involved.

Retiring from full-time work has allowed him the flexibility to be more involved in mission work, children's programming at church, and Bible quiz coaching. He is a father of five children, and grandfather of one. He enjoys watching college and pro football with his family. He and his wife Jenny will celebrate 32 years of marriage this summer. Keith is looking forward to teaching in an environment where he can openly share his faith.
